Branding cost in Dubai in 2026: published AED ranges from logo-only to full identity, what drives quotes, and how an Indian agency compares on scope and fees.

Branding Cost in Dubai (2026): AED Prices vs an Indian Agency – cover image, Life Designer

Quick answer: Published 2026 guides from Dubai agencies put logo-only work at roughly AED 150–10,000, a boutique-studio brand identity at about AED 12,000–40,000, and senior full-service agency branding at AED 45,000–150,000+, with bilingual and multi-market work at the top. Life Designer, a Bengaluru agency that works with UAE brands, starts branding at ₹3 lakh, approximately AED 11,400 at the 1 October 2026 rate. Every project is scoped on a discovery call first.

If you've asked three Dubai studios for a branding quote, you've probably received three numbers that look like they belong to different projects. One freelancer offers a logo for a few hundred dirhams, a boutique studio proposes AED 20,000, and a larger agency comes back at six figures. Each of them is calling it "branding".

This guide pulls together the AED ranges that Dubai agencies themselves have published in 2026, explains what each tier actually buys, and looks at the option many UAE founders now weigh up: hiring an Indian agency instead. We're a Bengaluru agency, so we'll be open about our own prices and about when a local Dubai partner is the better call.

How much does branding cost in Dubai in 2026?

There's no official price list, so the most useful benchmarks are the ranges Dubai-based agencies publish on their own blogs. Two recent ones, from Carril Agency (March 2026) and Confetti Design (September 2026), line up closely:

Tier

Published AED range

What it usually covers

Online platforms and crowdsourcing

AED 150–1,500 (Carril); AED 200–1,500 (Confetti)

A logo file or basic asset, little or no research, no brand system

Freelancer or junior designer

AED 2,000–8,000 (Carril); AED 1,500–5,000+ (Confetti)

Custom logo, colour options, sometimes a one-page brand sheet

Boutique studio or small agency

AED 12,000–40,000 (Carril); AED 5,000–20,000 (Confetti table)

Discovery, concepts, logo suite, colour, typography, usage guidelines

Full identity project

AED 25,000–60,000 (Confetti)

Strategy, complete identity system, guidelines, wider applications

Senior full-service or multi-market agency

AED 45,000–150,000+ (Carril); AED 60,000–150,000+ (Confetti)

Research, naming if needed, messaging, bilingual systems, brand architecture, rollout

Both guides land on a similar recommendation for a growth-stage Dubai business: plan for about AED 15,000–40,000 if you want a working brand system rather than a logo and a PDF. Treat these as published market ranges, not quotes. Your number depends on scope.

Why do Dubai branding quotes vary so much?

Most of the gap comes from what's included, not from one studio charging more for the same logo. When you compare proposals, check these five drivers:

Strategy and research

A quote that starts with "three logo concepts" has skipped the part that decides whether the identity works. Positioning, audience research and competitor mapping usually add a meaningful share to the fee, and they are the reason a brand still makes sense two years later.

Bilingual identity

Many UAE brands need English and Arabic to work together: a logo lockup in both scripts, Arabic typefaces that sit well beside the Latin ones, and guidelines for right-to-left layouts. Done properly, this is design work in its own right, not a translation step.

Number of applications

Packaging across SKUs, retail signage, vehicle livery, app icons and social templates all add time. A brand for a single-location café and a brand for a multi-category retailer are not the same project.

Brand architecture

If you have sub-brands, product lines or plans for other GCC markets, someone needs to decide how they relate. This is where the larger AED 60,000+ proposals usually earn their fee.

Revision rounds and handover

Look for defined approval stages, editable source files, vector logos and licensed fonts. "Unlimited revisions" often signals that no direction stage has been planned.

What does an Indian agency cost for a UAE brand?

Our published starting prices are in rupees. The AED figures below are approximate conversions for comparison only, using the 1 October 2026 rate of about ₹26.22 per dirham. Your proposal will state its own currency and exact figures.

Life Designer service

Published price (₹)

Approximate AED (at ₹26.22 = AED 1)

Branding (strategy and identity)

From ₹3 lakh

From about AED 11,400

Website design and development

₹3–10 lakh

About AED 11,400–38,100

Product UI/UX design and app development

₹20–80 lakh

About AED 76,300–305,000

Social media, performance marketing or SEO retainer

From ₹80,000 a month each

From about AED 3,050 a month (ad budgets extra)

GST is extra on our rupee prices. If your company is VAT-registered in the UAE (the standard rate is 5%), ask your accountant how an overseas supplier's invoice should be treated before you sign.

Put next to the Dubai ranges above, a strategy-led identity from us starts near the lower end of the boutique band, and a combined identity and website often sits within what a mid-tier Dubai studio would quote for the identity alone. That gap is the main reason UAE founders look at Indian agencies. It shouldn't be the only reason.

Should a UAE brand hire an Indian branding agency or a Dubai studio?

Both can be the right answer. Here is how we'd think about it if we were in your seat:

Factor

Indian agency (remote)

Dubai studio (local)

Budget

More scope for the same AED, often brand plus website in one project

Higher fees, reflecting local costs

Time zone

India is 1.5 hours ahead of the UAE, so working days overlap almost fully

Same time zone

Workshops and shoots

Mostly remote; in-person visits need planning

Easy to meet, shoot on location and review print proofs

Arabic and local culture

Ask who reviews Arabic type and copy, and how

Native Arabic designers and copywriters more likely in-house

Breadth

Full-service Indian agencies often cover brand, UI/UX, development and marketing together

Varies; many boutiques focus on identity only

A remote agency works best when you have a clear decision-maker, can give feedback within a day or two, and don't need weekly in-person sessions. If your brand depends heavily on Arabic-first storytelling or on-site retail fit-outs, a local partner, or a local partner working alongside a remote one, may suit you better.

What should a Dubai branding brief include?

A tight brief gets you comparable quotes, whichever country your agency is in. Send every shortlisted agency the same answers to these:

  1. Business goal: new brand, refresh or full rebrand, and why now.

  2. Markets and languages: UAE only, GCC, India, or wider; English only or bilingual.

  3. Audience: who buys, who influences the purchase, and what they compare you with.

  4. Touchpoints: packaging, store, website, app, social, sales decks, vehicles.

  5. Deliverables you expect to own: source files, fonts, guidelines, templates.

  6. Timeline and decision-makers: launch date, and who signs off at each stage.

  7. Budget band: even a range helps agencies propose the right scope instead of guessing.

Our guide on how to prepare before hiring a branding agency goes deeper on each of these.

Hidden costs to budget for in the UAE

  • Trademark registration: file in each market where you'll trade, and confirm current official fees with your trademark lawyer before you print anything.

  • Arabic copywriting and review: budget for a native reviewer even if your agency handles Arabic typography.

  • Font licences: bilingual families often need separate desktop, web and app licences.

  • Photography and video: rarely included in identity quotes.

  • Printing, signage and packaging production: priced by your printer or fabricator, not the agency.

  • Contingency: keep 10–15% aside for extra SKUs or late stakeholder requests.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a logo cost in Dubai?

Published 2026 guides from Dubai agencies put logo-only work between roughly AED 150 and AED 10,000, depending on whether it comes from a marketplace, a freelancer or a studio. A logo alone is not a brand identity, so check whether colour, typography and usage rules are included before comparing prices.

What is a realistic branding budget for a Dubai startup?

Two Dubai agencies writing in 2026 both suggest about AED 15,000–40,000 for a growth-focused business that wants strategy plus a full identity system. Bilingual work, packaging across many SKUs or multi-market architecture can push a project to AED 60,000 and above.

Is it cheaper to hire an Indian agency for UAE branding?

Usually, yes. Life Designer's branding starts at ₹3 lakh, approximately AED 11,400 at the 1 October 2026 rate, which sits near the lower end of the Dubai boutique range. Compare scope line by line, though, because the cheapest proposal isn't always the one that covers what you need.

Can an Indian agency design a bilingual Arabic and English brand?

Many can, but ask how. Find out who selects and pairs the Arabic typefaces, whether a native speaker reviews the copy and layouts, and whether the guidelines cover right-to-left use. Ask to see bilingual work, or plan for a local Arabic reviewer alongside the agency.

How long does a branding project take?

A strategy-led identity typically takes several weeks to a few months, depending on research depth, number of applications and how quickly decisions are made. Packaging, website or bilingual systems add time. Ask for a stage-by-stage timeline with named approval points before you sign.

Do Dubai branding prices include VAT?

Not always. The UAE's standard VAT rate is 5%, and some agencies quote before VAT. Overseas agencies may quote in their own currency with their own taxes, such as GST in India. Ask every agency to state currency and taxes clearly on the proposal.

The bottom line

Dubai branding prices run from a few hundred dirhams for a logo to well over AED 100,000 for multi-market work, and the published guides agree that AED 15,000–40,000 is where most growing businesses get a real brand system. An Indian agency can stretch that budget further, as long as you plan for Arabic review, in-person needs and clear feedback loops.
